In today's ever-changing world of music and entertainment, it goes without saying that the most successful entertainer is he who creates, adapts, and pushes the limits beyond any restriction or standard. He invents new sounds, styles, and combinations that grab, hold, and captivate the attention of anyone who listens. The DJ of today has evolved from simply a decorated jukebox, to a master of sound, emotion, and energy, able to stimulate the senses of his listeners to create nothing less than an addiction...

Enter DJPJ.

Within the past 10 years, PJ has excelled from ordinary music enthusiast, to professional DJ and Producer. He has performed as the resident house DJ at Seacrets Bar and Nightclub from 2003 - 2008 in his hometown, Ocean City, Maryland. During the off-season, he attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech.) where he received his degrees in Business, Marketing and Audio Technology in December of 2007. Now, you can catch PJ at any of his various nightclub residencies in downtown Charleston, SC as either a solo act, or with Live MIDI duo, "Klipart."

In 2006, he established a professional private party DJ business entitled, “Mr. Music,” which has entertained numerous distinguished clients, and successfully builds a growing fan base. Past clients of Mr. Music include Virginia Tech. homecoming court, VT ring premiere dances and Alumni events, the United States Presidential Airlift Group (AirForce 1), international fraternal retreats, large business private parties, U.S. government endorsed presentations, weddings, festivals, and retail store grand openings. PJ has also appeared as a guest DJ for a variety of promotional parties including "Coors Light," "Jose Cuervo," "Surfrider Foundation," and "Oakley."

Furthermore, PJ has supported, and played live shows with distinguished artists such as Funkmaster Flex, Vanilla Ice, DJ Enferno, Javier Miranda of Thievery Corporation, Fiction Plane, Porter Robinson, Burning Spear, Big Bang Baby, Ghostland Observatory, Tiesto, LMFAO, Cisco Adler, Shwayze, and DJ Cato K., just to name a few. PJ has also mixed with some of the country’s best DJs in clubs, and other venues, all along the east coast, including Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, South Carolina, Nassau Bahamas, and Pennsylvania. He has proficiently produced numerous mix albums, over 100 remixes, as well as original productions. His Nowadays Electro mixes feature the best in electronic music each season, in addition to Mayhem, an 80 minute mix featuring over 100 songs. Mayhem 2 (released on Saturday September 25th, 2010) features over 50 exclusive house tracks all mixed harmonically. Mayhem 3 (releasde February 1st, 2012) features 96 minutes of nearly 100 dance tracks all mashed together in a nonstop electro wonder. His "Lounj Fever" mix album (a 6 week long project featuring over 20 independent artists and bands) has been featured on Virginia Tech's WUVT FM radio show, and Pandora.com.

His trademark of “harmonic mixing” has taken the average DJ’s style of beat matching, and combined it with a strong background in music theory, to create a cutting-edge innovation, manifested in his live shows and mixes. With years of music production, collaboration, and on-stage experience, PJ continues to electrify the ears of anyone who listens. From deep and soulful house, to progressive and electro... his live shows present a balance between sensuality and insanity, all while maintaining a happy relationship within the harmonic spectrum. And although he has spent many years entertaining crowds of various demographics, his true talent lies in his ability to mix live, jaw-dropping performances of high-energy dance music, flawlessly, ultimately leaving dance floors jam-packed.
